Nick Bonney is an award-winning creative director, art director, brand expert, film director and author. Nick is now working one-on-one with independent hotelier owners, managers and marketers around the world. His mission is to help build your brand and deliver an exceptional guest experience. Through his coaching sessions you will receive bespoke advice, ideas and solutions for your business. You'll learn practical tips and tricks you can start using right away.
For almost 20 years, Nick has relished the opportunity to work with a wealth of clients across a diverse selection of large and small-scaled travel and leisure organisations – all the way from a full re-brand and creative strategy initiative for Tourism Australia and airline brands Qantas, Delta, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, Etihad Airways and Virgin Australia through to the development of a key branding and marketing launch for a ski lodge in Japan.
Nick’s career has been diverse. He has worked for a record company in London for music artists such as Groove Armada, The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears (yes, he admits to this colourful past...). He then spent over 10 years working for large advertising agencies such as M&C Saatchi and Clemenger BBDO as Creative Lead on a multitude of large national and international brands.
In 2017, Nick lead the creative direction and international expansion of tech startup Simple Technologies, a leading online tech company that delivers a marketing performance platform to worldwide enterprise companies.
Nick has also worked in Mumbai, India, as a senior designer for MTV and Channel V Asia, run his own clothing label and received prestigious awards at all the major creative award shows such as Cannes Lions, New York Festival, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, Adfest and Award along with guest speaking at creative colleges and universities around the world.
His experience has seen him work on an array of other national and international brands such as Pepsi, Fosters, Skittles, Nokia, Toshiba, Whiskas, Visa, MLC, Volvo, DHL, Gillette, Jive Records UK and Sony Music.
However, his real passion has always been found deep within the travel and leisure industries. He considers himself extremely lucky to be able to combine both his interests, and many years of specialist knowledge to work directly with hoteliers and marketers around the world.
